kye:
Ahh, Miss! I was just stopping by to check you weren't rocking in a corner somewhere, and behold! An update!

It'll all be over soon, and I'm sure well worth it.
biggrin
kye:
'Cause I like hiding my comments lately....

Yeah, 'tis the season for good fruit! The yummiest fruit comes out now.

I suppose it's compensation from Mother Nature for boiling us to death at this time of year.

It's oh-so-warm in Brisbane today. Thankfully, there is a breeze.

As for the mango thing, it pleases me to no end that you don't care for them. More for me! They are one thing I simply do not like sharing.
So, we can be friends, based on this discovery alone.

Your night sounds like it would have been a good one. Possibly well needed during this crazy tafe-esque time.

sugar_tsunami:
Sadly I won't be here for the parade. But perhaps we should party before I head off? Hey hey hey? I leave on the 18th. p/s think you should stretch your septum and put a bone in there wink
_max:
i'll come to your parade!!!
zombiejunk:
Count me in.

Also, I'm fine. Just a bit shaken and mad.
I hate it when people sort through my stuff anyway, let alone people I don't know :/

Bah. Assholes.
lior:
I know frowntongue
_max:
ohhhh tanx dudette!
will i need to pre buy tickets?
if your up for an evening of theatre you could come see the dance production im working on at waapa? let me know
xx
ampersand:
It is kinda weird yeah, but it's nice to hear, cause it means that I guess it's possible.

You know I'm still coming to your parade, right? If I'm still invited, yeah?

*crawls back under rock*
cleverthings:
I SO want to come to your parade. Also, just checked out Milla Jovovich's fashion label and now want her to have an internet ordering system. There are PRETTY THINGS and I can't tell how much they are.

Can you please recommend some labels for me for things that are like this Jovovich couture (so cool to be able to use that word appropriately!!!) and Dogstar that aren't either of them? And that I could hunt down somewhere? I need thousands of new clothes and know nothing about clothes. But I want something distinctive and Dogstar don't have anything at the moment that I like in stock.

MEOW!!!

Also, NaNoWriMo has halted. I am going to attempt to reignite the typing tonight, but it's really a bit of a lost cause now. My characters have become decidedly one-dimensional and they won't even tell me what dimension. Bastards. But they got names in the last 100 words I wrote. Pity the total is still only 1,500... whatever

kye:
Uh-huh.

Details enclosed in mail.

Because you live in Perth, and it's come to my attention lately that Perth is getting so many gigs that Brisbane isn't.... I'm just going to have a little rant that Bon Jovi is going to Perth.

Bon You Give Love a Bad Name", "Livin' on a Prayer", "Wanted Dead or Alive", "Bad Medicine", "I'll Be There for You", "Keep the Faith", "Bed of Roses", "Always", "It's My Life", "Everyday", "Have a Nice Day" fucking Jovi is going to Perth. And not here....

My bottom lip is sticking out so far right now.. I think I'm going to trip on it...

kye:
Misinterpretation, my dear.

Much beauty exists without the need (or want even) to share it.

There was something else within that story that needed to be said. Recorded. Documented.

It isn't the beauty that was to be shared, but something else.

ironorchid:
That would seem to be the idea. surreal

Please, don't apologise!

If I had a better knack with words, perhaps it would have made sense. Words don't like me half as much as I like them, and then, they just spew forth with no real thought (or more correctly, without any editing from brain to page), and viola... you have a mess on screen.

I'm never sure if a) I have a point or b) if I managed to express it properly.

So, what's kickin' 'round your parts? Sorry to hear forced insomnia doesn't work for you. I can't imagine if it were forced it would. I envy your ability to sleep.
Mind you, I've been getting a little more of late than I have in recent times. A pleasant and welcome change.

Well, I popped inside to bring some stuff up from downstairs and got distracted. I best get back to my day. Which for once, isn't too hot or too cold. It's perfect with a gentle breeze and just the right amount of cloud coverage.

kye:
Oh! For once I get to be the good news fairy!

'Cause it got long. Boy, can I babble...

Firstly, I would just like to say thanks for remembering I was doing my own little project for the month of November.

Now, I can tell you that I'm still going very well with my project and have managed to complete* a canvas for every single day with the exception of Wednesday 7 November.
On Wednesday I went out after work and didn't' get home until just before midnight. However, Row's offer for episodes (my first ever) of Buffy, cocktails, friends and pizza really sounded too good to pass up.
As a result ('cause I live in the middle of nowhere), I didn't get home until just before midnight and the day was over. I'm actually rather disappointed that I'm missing a day. Of course, I will paint a canvas for that date inspired by the notes and rough drawings penned on my train ride home late that evening.
But, it isn't the same.

On the upside (oh there is one!) I think I have something I can work with for a larger-scale piece. Given that my history with Acrylics isn't a very experienced one, I'm actually really excited/nervous/thrilled about tackling what I have in mind.

I'm not sure I can execute what I want to, as I'm having trouble making the colours I need to.
Oh, and I'm scared of failure. I don't know if you noticed, but I am (like everyone else) my own harshest critic. And, I sometimes think that this isn't the medium for me. Or more frequently, that I'm a talent-less hack that needs to stop dabbling and leave the art work for people who are good at it and stick to crafts.

Craft v Art.
Fuck. That's a whole other argument.

Shit, sorry love - that got was longer than "I'm doing okay with it, thanks for asking" But, you'd expect that from me by now. Right? smile

*Some need work. Like, lots of it. But, they aren't white. They have an idea, colour and a story. They need finishing.

Are you off to Muse tonight? If so, have an amazing time!

Care to share with me what you're currently putting together? Think of it as a creativity swap.
smile

shifter:
Since I've not watched BGT much, I know little about the hosts and judges. Therefore I am granted with the ability to ignore them and watch the little girl sing.

Its another one of my amazing secret powers.
ironorchid:
Eek. Painful hilarity indeed.

The FAQ is especially unhelpful on this matter:

Won't I forget the device is in?

You could, but the empty applicator should remind you!

Uh, yeah, cos I would never ever have sex anywhere that I couldn't see my empty applicator. Um. Whatever.

Hope your parade goes well. If I were in Perth i would probably be there. Going to see the TAFE art and fashion shows was something of a yearly ritual when I lived there.

cleverthings:
Miss you!!! Hope you're well and not rocking in a corner!!! kiss
delacroix:
Thank you. Yes, lame.
kye:
Miss,
Good luck for this final week. Things will go swimmingly (no doubt), and champagne (or cheap imitation bubbling wine) will fall from the heavens and things will be good.

I'm so glad to hear someone wanted a kitten with a red bow. That made me all kinds of smiles and happy.

Also, name. Ms. K.A.S won out. It was a hard decision, but I'm perfectly happy with it.
It feels all kinds of comfortable and shiny.

So, how is life in Ellie-World? Frantic, I would assume... but, please confirm or deny this thought.
