Are you familiar with his stuff? I studied him briefly while doing my textiles and wearable arts course. He's a very interesting man. At the time I really loved his Fall 2000 Ready-to-Wear Runway Collection.
So, if you get there and have a look-see, please tell me if it's worth it. I'm hoping it is. My last impressions of your Art Gallery are somewhat rushed.
I've just realised that if I want to see Soundwave (and the boy and I bought our tickets last night at my insistence...) then I will be in Brisbane the weekend you're in Sydney!!! This makes me incredibly sad. Lots of sad. Need to work out what to do... Can you give me the exact dates you're in Sydney just to check, please?
Just realised that it's my boy's birthday on the 23rd Feb (I mean, I hadn't forgotten the DATE, I just hadn't computed the fact that that date was the date of planned Sydney goodness OR of Soundwave in Brisbane! Typical. He also had not computed, so I'm not in trouble. But anyway) and that means that he gets to choose what we do that weekend. And he wants to be in Brisbane. So I'm definitely out for Sydney that weekend... however, it may be possible for me to get some time off work and come down to Sydney during the week, but I'll have to see how I go.
SO SAD ABOUT THIS. I WAS TOTALLY KEEN AND EXCITED AND DOING SEEING-MISSELLIE-DANCES and EVERYTHING. AND THINKING IN CAPS. But no.
Ah well... good luck with all your creative joy and wish me luck with NaNoWriMo!!
No direction yet, which makes me sad... really it's just about a path and some talking flowers and rather scary knobbly fairies and a path. That's all I have for now... not really a story, is it?
When did you change your About Me thing? I was just thinking about the ponies today. How strange.
Hope it's all going well miss. Good luck!
