Happy Valentines Day everyone.



As we all know today is a celebration of the day that turned the Cupid War, when the Airborne 56th Cupid squadron took the Valley of Lovehearts and Chocolate back from the Elven kind. This led to the truce 2 months later which settled all differences in the land of cupid.

It's a well known story but one that should always be repated on this day. The elven kind were marching on the Valley of Lovehearts and Chocolate, led by their great Generals Snap, Crackle & Pop. They'd already laid waste to most of the land of Cupid. Their aim was to join forces with the 75th Regiment of Leprechauns under the command of the Lucky Charms Leprecahun...Larry...and from the Valley of Lovehearts and Chocolate they aimed to strike on towards Cupidville.

Aware of the danger, the great Cupid Army General...Colin...knew he didn't have enough forces to hold back the attack so he sent the 56th Cupid Squadron to delay Snap, Crackle and Pop long enough to allow the Cupid Tank Division to move up from Cupidville.

The 56th Cupid Squadron flew into action, ambusing the ill-prepared 75th Regiment of Leprechauns, decimating them in a hail of love arrows. As the Leprecauhns retreated, the Evles led by Snap, Crackle and Pop arrived on the scene. The fighting was brutal, with arrows and Rice Krispies flying through the air. After 3 hours of fighting the Cupid Tank squadron arrived and Snap, Crackle and Pop were capturing and hung drawn and quartered, their heads put on display at the city gates.

And because of this great feat, today we salute the Airborne 56th Cupid Squadron.
