it's like this:
the more developed nations of the world actually have a problem with shrinking population (Japan, Norway, Denmark, places like that) while nations with a low rate of education have exploding populations.
Religious nutcases (like my brother) are breeders. They feel it's their duty to fill the world with more nutcases. This is akin to the heat death of the universe, entropy, everything boiling down to a dull gray oatmeal.
