Thanks for all the comments on my last post. I think I figured it out though. Here's my opinion: The guy Nic was with in the dream was a guy I know called Sean (she can't stand him in real life) and he's the only person I know with this name. Nic just met a guy in work (just a friend) called Sean and they've been texting each other out of work and stuff. I guess I'm still holding onto a couple of insecurity issues and in my mind I projected the subliminal concerns I had about this new friend of hers onto my old friend who shares the same name.

To clarify a point that I never mentioned before; we have an open-relationship (by which I mean we sleep with other people when we feel like it) but I consider lying to each other about it to be cheating. Weird I know but it works for us.

Anyway, I told her about the dream the next day and she was really good about it and totally put my mind at ease. We had a laugh about it in the end, although she was pissed at me for not just telling her about it straight away. It all ended in relationship-reaffirming sex anyway so it's all good!
