Eeeeeek! I'm freaked out and won't be able to sleep well for the next couple of days. Eeeeek! Alright-insects and spiders don't really freak me out. I actually quite like them. I don't like being bit by them and I don't like the creepy ones getting on me without me knowing it. Okay so here's what happened to me last night...at 3am...
I spent the night at my moms house because she's on vacation and I'm dog sitting for her. I decided to sleep on the couch because I it's comfy...I wake up at 3am because my whole left hand is stinging...really really bad. I said "what tha fuck" to myself and went to the bathroom. So I'm sitting there having a pee checking out my hand and I start to notice two little bumps coming up. One on my pinky and one behind the knuckle of my pointer finger-so something had bit me. I knew it couldn't be an ant because it hurt too bad so it had to be a spider or something else. So I start looking around my shirt and to my surprise there was a fucking scorpion on the back of my right sleeve!!! I jumped up with my shorts around my ankles trying to slap it off while stomping my feet and letting out this horrible girl squeel of a scream (I can't remember ever making that nose before in my life). I didn't see it anymore and I was just standing there frozen...except for the muscles in my thighs were spazing out and my heart was pounding...so there I was frozen there in the little bathroom-shorts on the gound-wearing nothing at all but a little pink t-shirt. I couldn't see him anywhere which was freaking me out-so I went to the big bathroom to take a look in the mirror and there was nothing-so I took the shirt off real quick and shook out my hair to make sure he wasn't there...I was too afraid to go back and look for him because the hardwood floors are too close to the same color...so I grabbed a pair of dress shoes that were there on the floor-making sure there wasn't anything in there before puting them on. So here I go...completely naked other than my moms little sparkly dress shoes...I get to the bathroom and move the shorts a little and there he is...I got a cup and scooped him up...I NEVER kill anything like this when I find it-I ALWAYS take it outside and let it go-even at work-and everyone laughs at me for it...but I do...I couldn't help it this time. I was too freaked out-I didn't want to take the chance that he would get back in-I sprayed him with bug spray. I still didn't feel better. I slept in my moms bed-I refused to cover up with anything in fear that there could be one lurking under the covers-even after I checked twice and nothing was there. It was cold and I kept waking up thinking something was crawling on me. I finally fell asleep but had a dream that 2 more got me lol. Eeeek! It was horrible!!! I grabbed my stuff when I woke up and came home-I didn't even bring my shoes! Has anyone else been stung by one of these? This one was a Striped Bark Scorpion Centruroides vittatus
