No, the ring-flash comment isn't accurate. There's a type of flash that actually wraps around the end of the lens so the light is as frontal and even as possible. I want one, but I don't have one. And I assure you, though technical skills are important, they're worth nothing without an awesome model and a good idea, both of which came from you.
