so, week one of rehearsals for King Arthur gone already! Eek. got lots done, many balls got rolling (that sounds strange...) including starting work on my barbarian war dance, but I'm terrified by how soon it will be over.
also coming up I have lots of animation teaching work, which is cool but ill-timed, and I've just been asked to choreograph the christmas show for Polka theatre (fantastic children's theatre in south west london, where I grew up) this is an absolute dream, but again, woeful timing. It starts rehearsals next week, so lots of frantic rearranging of diaries and rehearsal schedules going on. The show's called Father Christmas and the Last Present, and couldn't be more fun and christmassy if it tried with both feet
Oh, and I've got the lurgies. had several days of nasty, coldy, head-full-of-yuk feeling; plus weird, croaky, Louis Armstrong's granny voice.
It never rains but it pours, eh?
will be back later to run round everyone's journals, but off now to plan lots of workshops.
