Hmmm, I'll have access to the internet whilst I'm away, but it will be on my supervisors home computer, not sure how I'd explain the naked ladies to him. So you may have to wait until I return for further updates.

I will actually be working in Fangorn Forest, hehehe. Not sure if its the same location as in the film, but I love teasing my lady during Lord Of The Rings, saying things like "Thats my lab", when theres a really beautiful flyby of the mountains.

True love does indeed conquer all. I'll have to look that song up as its not one I know. My personal favourite songs for loved up ness is Frank Zappas 'Love of my life' and Iggy Pops 'Candy'.

I'm looking fward to the days of cohabiting and tv snuggliness. Love may be a bit 'sickening' but not when you're in it!

Self-promotion is an esential (though nasty) part of the working world! Well, until such a time as we hit the high seas to become pirates! Pirates have no need for self-promotion, just pillaging and generally making a right good nuisance of ourselves! Oh and sowing the seed of discontent!
taniss:
Ah yes, self promotion. Otherwise known as "lying through your teeth."

"I once had to dig a big hole in the rain, which gave me vital skills of determination..."

"I once locked myself out of my house, which taught me how to survive in extreme conditions..."

"I used to be part of a drug smuggling syndicate, which taught me how to better work in a team..."
mukki:
"I once pooed myself whilst being sick and had to flush my kegs doon the lavvie, showing the ability to think quickly on my feet..."

oh, bugger - that one was true! blush

your sketch is marvellous. i think you should use it as a self-promotion flyer. ARRR!!!

i have a friend who is also interested in photographing sets on SG... he will be joining my friends list as soon as his computer is fixed.

F. Scott F. writes beautifully, but i have yet to read The Ice Palace. Another project on the burn?
mukki:
bloody 'ell, milady... i think my friend used to lecturer in this area and her PhD may have been in 3D animated movement. I could have a word with her and email you her contact details through 'contacts' if you fancy.

is this what they call inter-net-working?

i may have two other good friends (one a dancer in Brighton and another a photographer here in Wolvo) who may be worth having a word with. Lemme know if you would like me to have a chat to them.
goblintcat:
You're absolutely right! Lounging AFTER the high seas!!! Now to kep the parrot away from the cats!

Perhaps this would be a good time to learn to swim? Drowning pirates sounds so uncool. frown Anyways, I need the change in career path so swashbuckling works for me!!!
