I've been working on something themed around Shakespeare this week. And I reached for my copy of Thiselton-Dyer's incredible The Folk-lore of Shakespeare. My copy was printed in 1883, still solid, still readable. It's been here in Boston, in use to varying degrees, for 138 years. I love the connection this artifact gives me to the other people who have used it.
