Southern California is SO not set up for extended rain (and by "extended," I mean "lasting longer than three hours"). The street I do most of my driving on is flooded. The street my house is on is full of mud...they're grading the hills behind us and all that shit just washed right into our neighborhood.

On the up side, if I can't get my car out of the driveway, I can't very well be expected to go to class.

i'm twiddling my thumbs at my parents house in california (my sister gets married soon so i'm helping her out)...then it's off to nyc next week, then key west for a weekend, then back to california, and back to nyc by the end of march, only to have to move everything to San Francisco by April 1.
