So this morning the ship finally came in.
I've been waiting since I moved to LA for a call about this job that has been in the works. So the last month I've been idle work-wise, but I've been filling it in with awesome adventures: surfing, roller coasters, beaches, parties, night life, and extreme Kicking It. It's been great, but I've been chomping at the bit a little because I moved down here to do some real shit, and instead I was just spending money and gettin fat on In N Out (don't get me wrong, that's the American Dream, but not yet...not yet).
The call came not a moment too soon, as just yesterday I was at a temp agency.
And today will be the first day of work.
After the call this morning I had the most satisfying b.m. since I moved here.
The specs of the job look better than I had thought. (I'll spare the details) But it looks like I will be getting awesomely rad opportunities.
Now I can like...take out girls and stuff.
Not to mention the new Westender stuff is all coming together conceptually and I'm quite inspired and excited about it.
It's fuckin party time!

What's really strange is that I've met a few cool random people here, just find they're from Oregon. I guess I'm drawn to them.
