Well production day is over.. and i mangaged to get away with everything horrible thing that could have gone wrong to me happen!

Leave it to my fellow clasmates to "forget" to design Banners for all sections of the paper. so who has to drop everything to design new ones? Yes. Me.
Not that I mind normally but I was having major difficulty paginating my own page.
Seeing as the editors forgot to account for the banners I had way to many inches of copy to deal with including 2 pictures and a cutline. Not to mention clever headlines.
So time passed and I had everything in place.. ( I convinced the editors to cut a thumbnail pic which had no place on my page) it was good. Then This PR guy...ARRRGHHH they annoy me sometimes( sorry
AandP.. I still love you ) tells me, "I wouldn't run that if I were you.."

apparently my lead story on a production of a music video was a no-go. They aren't even making it anymore. GREAT! thanks for letting me know. The producer of the video was so excited and adament that it was put in the paper that I decided to write a full story on it. Stupid chick doesn't have the decency to let me know they aren't even finishing it!....

What do I do??? I don't have a story to fit in 30 inches(including picture/cutline) plus teaser box on frontpage...
If I were editor I would have cut the whole thing.... BUT.. seeing as it is a learning paper.. All i could do was cut a quarter of my story. increase the picture size and writer a WRITER'S NOTE on it...
Not an ideal case for me... I AM NOT IMPRESSED.

anyhow.. then I spent the rest of the day fixing everyone elses design mistakes... URGHHH.
It's nice to know that half my class didnt even bother to show up... FUCK THEM!
I hate people without work ethic...
