sky:
yaay a Manics fan tongue kiss
sky:
Woohoo! You can be my SG manics twin tongue

I went to the Lifeblood tour in Manchester, and then ended up goin to the resceduled show in Cardiff with my dad biggrin

I'm such a manics geek. When I was younger I spent every penny I had on them... now I'm not rich enough for that. But I still see them whever I can.

That Vote Manics Tee owns!
jenya:
thank you for the birthday wishes! kiss
rodan:
I love seeing stuff like that in a theatre - The Charles (where I saw it) isn't the BEST theatre around (I'll usually give that to the local Muvico megaplex or the Senator) but it's just a cool little art house I go to whenever I can smile.

It was a cool movie tho - I didn't think it was quite as good as Spirited Away but it wasn't bad! It was pretty dark for a Ghibli movie tho, what with bombs and wars and stuff. Ah well, I'm still glad I saw it smile. Hopefully it'll make its way over to y'all soon biggrin.

Ahhh - so THAT explains the sideways urges and pinching things I've been doing!! I hadn't connected the two smile. wink tongue
bekka138:
thanks for the birthday wishes!
sky:
yea, totally, I went to Leeds Uni to see them this year and it was madness... so weird seeing them in a small venue after all the stadium gigs.

I remember the first time that I saw them play Stay Beautiful, I've never screamed FUCK OFF at the top of my lungs so much before tongue

sky:
favourite Ben & Jerrys...mmMMmm this is making me want ice cream now! hehe tongue
I love the new Dublin Mudslide one cuz it tastes like coffee AND alcohol! woohoo biggrin

sky:
hah! what i love is.. when you've made yourself a bit sick from it the night before, and you think you never want to see ice cream again... but by the morning... it's the first thing you grab when you're searching for breakfast.

ice cream IS the best breakfast, i agree!
caramel:

sky:
I totally like WARM rain.. yea that's cool.

I must say something about Derby trainstation.

Everyone I know gets stuck there.

My friend missed his coach and was stuck there for 10 hours.

After seeing the souls in march i was sat there for 2 hours.

All I know of Derby is the station, I'm pretty sure that's all it is.

The city is a station.

kiss
sky:

mratomic:
Hey, congrats on selling your article. I still do alot of mine for favours and drinks...
I was pissed already by the time I got to the beach, thanks to the APE gang supplying us all with gallons of free booze on the coach down there.
That shoe hanging thing is a funny one. I saw alot of it when I briefly visited San Francisco. Over there it seems to belong to some murky middle ground between outsider art and urban myth. My guess is that people buy new shoes and amuse themselves by tying the old ones laces together and hurling them up into the air like bolas until they snag on something.
sky:
i'm still searching! kiss
birdie_:
thank you oh so much
referring to my haikus

rodan:
Code is always fun smile Even cookbook stuff is fun the first few times, then I start looking for ways to write programs to write the programs wink.

I'll try to send the rain your way, altho it's mostly just thundering and not raining here today, high 80s tempwise and so humid you can wring the air out.

But I'll think positive, if rainy, thoughts for y'all smile.
rodan:
Glad to have helped! smile

Yeah, I'll turn it into my space as much as I can, given there's no walls wink. If the ceiling wasn't so high I'd bring in a bead curtain or something smile.
maia:
Thank youuu!!!! kiss
