it's my home. i grew up there. it's a disgusting, dangerous yet kick ass place. my passion for underground music was born there. the ottobar is like my second home, after attending shows there every week for years. it has a very rich history of growing up alongside punk and emo and indie rock, and no good band passes it by on tour. i miss fells point, the amazing indie record shops. i miss crabs. any mention of "good crab" from anywhere besides maryland makes me want to punch people. you don't know crab until you've eaten at phillps, or gotten a buncha crabs from crab shanty to take home for a big ol messy feast. i even miss the commercialized inner harbor and all it's hooters glory.

oh, what a cute cat. Im sorry to hear about your loss of such a dear pet. Its always been hard for me to deal with not having them around anymore. I get kind of connected. Well, just thought id also say that I cant wait to see what photoset you put up in Modern Pirates.
Aww. You just actually made me cry. I'm so sorry she's gone. I know exactly how you feel. I lost an awesome kitten a few years ago. Since then my fiance and I have acquired 4. They're the sweetest coolest things ever. We got very lucky. I lost my dog to old age a few months ago. She was still living with my parents but I miss her all the same. I grew up with her. Cats and dogs just don't translate tho.
