I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make it now. I will be up in Sheffield then but I only arrive that day, not earlier in the week as I originally planned. As the whole idea for me heading north is to see my best mate who I haven't seen in months I will almost certainly be getting wasted with him that night. If things change and he's busy that night I will almost certainly come and join you but it looks unlikely at the moment. Too many things to do and not enough time.
If people really want to go outside and smoke what is any employers problem with that? I know it doesn't look great but I think most people right now understand why it's happening.
I've never understood why some employers don't want their staff leaving the premises during their breaks. I suppose they may worry that people won't come back on time.
ha ha thats awesome..I'm back in the UK in 2 days and I can't imagine walking into smoke free bars..
I can imagine at my old place of work, The Jobcentre that this smoking thing won''t have gone down too well, I bet they have half the staff going off on long term sickness.
I believe its possible myself and my partner Benjiman [ although he's not on the site at present] will be stopping by. We move up to leeds just before that so its quite perfect.
Oh and to add to the smoking ban, my whole workteam are currently walking round with nicotine gum. All of them smoke and i can see that they are getting far more stressed, its almost scary. But luckily i wont be there for much longer!
Heh, trustworthy type! Well you could possibly show me where the elusive angel inn is before the end of the month, and I can then give you your pennies back, plus a beer or 2!
