It's tough because people lie and they lie and they lie. Well, it's not really that bad. In reality, courtship is only complicated if you make it such. You eventually get to a point where you don't give a shit about the outcome anymore and that when it gets easy. You meet someone cool, you tell them you like them, they tell you they do too ... or that they don't. All done. You've lost nothing and there are no complications. You don't care what the person may think of you because it doesn't matter. Unless they like you back in which case it's win win.
