So I really dig this site. Some of the models are drop dead gorgeous, and the sets are creative, well posed, and edited nicely. (I'm a photographer, I notice this stuff! lol)
But this brings me back to other issues of "alternative" modeling that I find unattractive. I'm not enmeshed in the legal stuff with SG, but I know enough that in a large corporation/group like this, abuse is rampant. More importantly than that, the whole idea of an "army" is a little bit much. I don't ever want to run into some 18 year old snothead just out of highschool bragging about being a suicidegirl just because she's physically attractive and fits the criteria. There should be a more vigorous personality criteria to get up on these sites, because it's NOT just porn... you're supposed to have a personality, opinions, education, interests and causes that people will remember you by.
I was denied from GG while my best friend was accepted and has more than a dozen sets up on the site. It's just as shallow as any other fashion show or high school. Despite my written application, apparently I wasn't "hardcore" enough back then. I guess you MUST have tattoos, piercings, and weird hair... forget your personality. It's all about the image huh? I could re-apply and have a better chance now, but would I do it?
