i was told, after watching all of arrested development in the span of two weeks, to watch soap next since it was basically arrested's precursor. i definitely see the resemblance, but thank GOD there's no more laugh track. i cannot fucking stand being told when to laugh, ugh.

also, what's wrong with beards or flannel or hwm? all of those things rule pretty hard. \m/

i think i like arrested better simply because of the absence of a laugh track. i could literally die laughing every time billy crystal smiles his creepy fucking smile, but being told that i'm SUPPOSED to laugh makes me not want to. fuck you laugh track, maybe i think curtains are funny and not the situational bullshit you're peddling in the foreground! >.<
