i like never post anymore and haven't even been on the site in a few days (that's significant for me).
wow, i was drunk in my last post.
...i'm a little drunk now, too, but that's not the point.
the point is:
i'm going to start my own blog, so maybe the five or whatever of you who read this shit would like to read that, too? i still have to actually buy the domain name and set it up, but that's going to happen in the next couple of days.
picking a name is hard, you know.
the name is going to be a little long, but it was decided amongst my coworkers that the best name for the blog that i had come up with was indeed the longest. it's technically only four words but they're a little long. the reasoning, though, was that most people will follow links to get to it (since most blogs are discovered via links anyway), and if you like it enough to read it regularly you'll probably just stick it in your bookmarks.
it will be a little bit of what i post here, though i may try my hand at proper capitalization (which has become a foreign concept to me in general, as i tend to even write my own real first name in all lowercase, reason being it's a palindrome with nice, neat, rounded little letters that look very cute when in all lowercase...i'm a fucking nut, i know) and there will be more reviews of various medias and stuff (probably i'll just review every cd, dvd and game that i own), and less "OH GOD I'M DRUNK HERE ARE SOME THINGS I HATE ALSO I'M DEPRESSED AND NO ONE UNDERSTANDS MEEEE" bullshit. i'll also post some of my drawings - random nude chicks, semi-funny single-panel comics and anthropomorphic fruit alike. i have things piling up for content. i need to start the blog ASAP while certain things are fresh in my mind.
i will not lie, my main motivation for this endeavor is so that i can put enough ads on it overtime to supplement my income and then maybe i won't have to work so damn much (or at all, if i can figure out how the hell my inspiration, Dooce, does it). it's not about laziness, it's about living my DREAM, people. and my dream happens to be living in a rad city (preferably New York, which is by far the raddest place i have ever been, also my bestest friend lives there and i almost never see her these days because of that) and being a little Susie Homemaker, minus kids (maybe turtles or guinea pigs instead???). also if i ever use a particular idea i have for very nerdy, tiny, expensive handbags, i will have an outlet with which to advertise/sell them. or, you know, sell art or anything else i happen to make.
once i have things up and running, i'm sure i'll post the url.

Denton isn't very big as far as cities go, and since it's a college town the population changes according to whether or not classes are in session. Which means that in the summers and over the winter holidays it seems like a ghost town...by comparison anyway.
