personal favorite song on that collection: "jason lowenstein is a wanker"...or "damn good mr. jam". i like to pretend he says "billy bob dupree" instead of "anything for free".

chicken, huh? my one cat's into cheese and ice cream. and the other cat likes spiders quite a lot, but there's no way in hell i'm putting a spider in my lap, even as a tempting treat...

portnoy's complaint made me laugh so hard that my face was covered in tears and i couldn't see to read. at the time i thought it was like a dirtier, jewish Adrian Mole. i'm going to read it again...

I'm reading "Hard Boiled Wonderland.." love it.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I'm extra busy this month. Yes, I've worked at a local bookstore for 5 years, I'm actually on extended pregnancy leave right now, but I still do thier graphic design.

I hope my babies first word is haberdashery! I will know I did a damn good job. LOL

Return of the Jackalope! Yes! Sometimes you just cannot beat that domestic bliss. I liked 'Snow Angels'; I think my favorite is 'In the Walled City' - short, gut-wrenching stories, simply written. Off to the library for a fresh batch. Anything striking, I'll let you know.
