Actually, this was shot at the Source Comic Books and Games in St Paul, and they let me use everything. The clothing and book are mine, but everything else is theirs.
I've been debating whether to send you a pm asking you your thoughts about something that I'd rather discuss in a private forum. I'm about 80% sure I'll follow through with it tomorrow.
hopefully next time thanks for everything. i think i knocked that exam dead. muahaha!
im freeee!
happy holidays. i hope you drink red wine in excess <3 ill be thinking of you when i do
I don't think it's too early to wish you and yours a joyous Christmas. It hasn't been the best of years for me. However, your being there when things have gone awry has made some pretty bad stuff bearable.
As always, I appreciate your comforting words. What you said was quite poetic. I didn't think of it as metaphorical at all.
Being Jewish, I learned about the miracle of Hannukah as a child. I grew to be cynical about things like miracles as I got older. Maybe this would be a good time to try to believe in miracles again, as I'm sure I did as a child. It might make my outlook more optimistic.
I had to tell you this. I saw The Boy in the Striped Pajamas the other day. It was excellent. The ending was about the most impactful as anything I have ever seen in film. As the movie ended and the credits were rolling, no one moved or made a sound for at least five minutes. The irony depicted in the ending put the horror of the holocaust in even a more devestating perspective than normal.
I wanted to stop by and wish you and yours a wonderful holiday season and an amazing new year. It will be nice to put 08, and more over, the Bush/Chaney Neo-Con reign of terror behind us. With the promise of the new year, and new leadership, it is fantasic to finally feel like things will truly get better. See ya in 09.
I hope you had a good day. I just posted a new blog about my day. It was a positive post for a change.
Besides Chinese food and a movie, Jews also tend to go to casinos on Christmas. I used to go to Atlantic City in past years. I like to recount that I would play Texas hold-em with about seven Asians and two Jews.
