Well, Fringes were entertaining. We did Calgary Fringe as participants (only saw 2 shows other than ours, bad me) and Edmonton as spectators (12 plays in 3 days, plus 4 outdoor shows).
I am indeed annoying a seamstress. I got to try on my dress yesterday and it is, as predicted, huge. I have to buy shoes, though, so we know how long it should be.
Day one of the new job was yesterday. It started off with a long meeting, followed by chasing around the building trying to find the materials I needed, and ended with discovering that one of my co-workers went to high school with my fianc. Of course she did. It seems that a goodly chunk of the city did. Advantage of a big school, I guess?

One of my cats has come up with an idea solution to insect problems. He chases them around for a while and when he gets bored he ....sits on them. One day he's going to do that to a bee and regret it but for the time being he's putting his extra weight to go use!
