baking is truly a skill. I, too, bake (family pie crust recipe is the flakiest you'll taste), and I always respect people who can. I only recently managed to start baking cookies that are soft, but not undercooked in the middle (hell, it took me awhile to stop overcooking them to crispiness).
I wish I'd known you were accepted to SFstate. I have had an extra room for about a year because I had 2 people flake on me as roomies & decided just to be poor so I could keep my nice apartment.
I think I might host a potluck dinner in the next couple of months, but it's gonna be a smaller affair and it'll be on a saturday. invite-only, most likely.

I'm always surprised at how interested people are in what it means. The Latin version is a bit more complex and encompassing then what can be properly translated into English. Thats one of the things I love about it.
