a new year/decade/number i have to write on my rent cheques. (i just wrote one for 20100101. almost binary code.) what does this mean? so many people i know have had a terrible 2009. mine wasn't really a shining year, either. maybe 2010 will be better.
i don't feel like writing a long journal entry today, so i won't. i always feel like i am obligated to give so much.
sometimes i forget that i am still so, so young.
today i stopped at the salvation army to pick up a butter yellow cardigan and a navy blue velvet blazer. tonight my date and i are dressing in those colours, having a fancy supper at a restaurant we'd never be able to afford if we didn't have a gift certificate, and then having a drink with sir flaneur, and then wandering, nomadic, with an alarm set on my phone to notify us when it's time to kiss.
i'll have fun.
