Fantastic Four itself was fairly meh. It was ok, and I liked a couple of the changes they made to the formula (although taunting us with the prospect of an invisible naked Jessica Alba was little short of cruel.). But all the same, the script wasn't all that, and I really didn't care for the whole "failed relationship" bit with Reed and Sue. That just isn't even remotely true to the spirit of the characters. (plus it was kind of irritating.)

What drove me nuts was the DVD. It's one of the ones that some genius decided to frontload with a) an unskippable anti-piracy ad (newsflash: if they're watching the DVD, THEY DIDN'T PIRATE THE MOVIE.), and b) over five minutes of unskippable, unfastforwardable previews for really, really bad movies. So far so bad. What drove the nail into the coffin is that it had seen enough use to freeze more than once at a couple of places in the movie. I eventually got around it the first time, but the second (maybe four-five scenes from the end) saved the position that didn't work, thus making it a choice of sitting through the unskippable crap again, or ejecting the disc and pitching it into the nearest trash-bin. Well...stuffing it in the Netflix return envelope and sealing it. Anyway. That's the option I picked. *mutters*

Ya I agree with u the Fantastic Four was ok. So was the Incredible Hulk.Ya I hate that crap on the DVd's too, they really need too make a auto-skip option for that. Ya it the same thing at movie theatre.With those stupid cell-phone ad. I mean does anybody actually still turn there cell phone on during the movie.
