I never really worry about what I can do that is better, I just choose something and make it the best I can. I still don't know what I'm going to do this year, however.
I always wanted to be Franknfurter for Halloween (although I would probably make a better Riff-Raff), but it would be soo cold. I think you would make a great Columbia if you wanted to still do RHPS. If not, well, I don't have too many ideas this year
One of the better costume ideas I have seen a girl do is be the Jolly Green Giantess. Of course, it was a last-minute home-made costume and the leaves and vines could not really hold up to sweat, dancing, and drinking, so she had to resort to stealing parts of other people's costumes to keep covered as a result of becoming horribly (or, I might call, wonderfully) *wilted*.
But that's kind of what happens when you are at the last hour, staring at duct tape, paper plates, glue, paints, a stapler, no clothes, and your frozen meal wondering what to go as.
