Oh mate, loved your post, I had a c64 too i used have so many games, IK+, way of the exploding fist, Pawn of Prophecy, and a load i can`t remember the names of, but I remember the Bitmat brothers and team 17. I even used to programme little sprites and get them moving around the screen, although that is where my programming skills end

You`ve read loads of the same books, and again I`m impressed with your knowledge. What did you study about the eastern empire? I`m totally into all that as I`m working on a fantasy book myself and love old titbits. My main intrest is the Altai region and the myths and legends of those people, and celts.

Anyway I arrive here and see a poem all about fairies (Tuatha De Danann) and celtic gods and heroes.

I had to look up Tathlum, but it seems to be a weapon forged of the blood and heads of enemies bound in a concrete ball. The other character I`ve heard of, Balor, the evil one, Lugh the hero, Bruin aswell, though I would have to look at my various books to remind myself of exactly who they are.

Have you read Worlds End by Mark Chadbourne? The first 3 books make up one story and are called the Age of Misrule. I think you`d quite like them.
