Public transportation here sucks a fat one, or else I wouldn't be so worried about the carless situation. Hopefully someday soon that can be fixed. I live in a pretty big city and it doesn't make much sense for our public transportation to be as poor as it is.
I hate paying bills. There's never enough money left over afterward for some good quality *ME* time and frivilous spending binges. I like those so much better than paying bills.
Being skint sucks, so I can sympathise.

And to answer a comment in C_M's journal, yes - we get it at weight (other than all the random stuff you acquire for free if you know the right people...) Unfortunately, it means your house rapidly gets taken over by boxes of unpainted toys...
Things have been so bad on the beer front for me too. I've even been looking into making home brew ale again!!! (sheesh, i really am going back to my 80's DIY punk days!!)
heh. I know how it is. i stock up on sticky rice during those dry times.. a plentiful and affordable food. it also helps soak up the suds.. that would leave me with with enough to squeeze in a few good pints at least.
