Well that was a pleasant weekend, despite an early start to Saturday. Usually I'll lurk in my pit (15' diameter, 8' deep, plenty of pillows and beer drip attachments) I somehow crawled out at 8am to nip off down the Post Office to collect Series 1 of Fraggle Rock and to get all my food shopping done, an early start does avoid all the crowds of Harrow but shocks the system and requires a lot of caffeine to overcome. Alas the caffeine was not quite enough so I ventured down to the meet for TheQuestions birthday booze-up for a medicinal tonic session; whisky and beer, marvellous inventions that put pale to the wheel, fire and dehydrated water. The session was successful and enjoyable, so much so that it's a bit of a haze. Still, I met a mixture of new and, in some cases rare, old faces. Also, thankfully, I managed till after the meet to drop. I didn't realise quite how pissed I was until on my way to Great Portland Street Station my body suddenly decided to greet the pavement whilst ignoring the kerb. I picked myself up with a muttered blessing to the gods (oh bollocks, my fucking arm. A great and powerful blessing!) and bid a sad farewell to some of my skin. At least it was at the bottom of the street rather than halfway up where the all the eateries are and I would have provided cheap entertainment to the gobbling masses (Darling, I didn't realise we had stand up with our pasta? I didn't get the 'oh bollocks' line though. Don't worry lavvy, it wasn't stand up, more a full on fall over.) My battered dignity was pacified with chips in pita, and yea, my wrath which was waxing started to wane instead, which is vastly less sore than waxing by all accounts and so the pavement which so viciously attacked me escaped a good kicking. And that had nothing to with the fact I was wearing trainers rather than steel toe caps.

Sunday started late with a sore arm and a sausage sandwich with brown sauce and then progressed to the monthly film evening. I managed to subject my friends to Kill Klowns from Outer Space

The result was much like I expected and I was rewarded with looks of stupefaction and comments of 'my brain hurts'. Philistines! I added to the horror by getting Loic to borrow Killer Pussy (A Japanese film which....well, I'm sure you can guess roughly what the films like; great sound effects though, the chomping noise is fantastic.) Loic has yet to contact me about the film so I figure his head exploded. Poor boy, he was doing so well after liking Citizen Toxie.

Well you managed to disguise the being pissed very well as you held your conversation outside the pub!

Hope the skin has fully healed now
