what an interesting weekend .. full of excitment, entertainment, and even a little bit of drama.
but seriously folks, the SGSLC group, although very tiny, is packed full of goodness. I pretty much ended up moving 50 miles south for the weekend (although I left my toothbrush, sunglasses, and a change of clothes at home with all the lights on) to be entertained by jasperella, cinder, and their closest peers.
to many good things to cheer about so I'll just say thanks again for letting me invade your house for almost the entire weekend.

I've been thinking about sending my mother a link to this site. I think she would dig it, and I know she would like to read my journal for updates on how I'm doing and stuff. hmm .. maybe I'll do just that.

strawberry shortcake icecream bars .. oh man I love these things. really though, with all the cash I spend on shit at 7-11 it's a wonder that I ever have 1)any money left, and 2) don't weight about twice what I do now.

I think I'm just going to let my hair grow out again and then buy some death metal albums.

so I kinda got stood up tonight. it's probably for the best anyway .. the contrast between the different people I've met and hung out with since I got to SLC is pretty astounding and I would probably just end up embarassing myself by cursing and and talking about my piercings all night with the girl who called out 'date' off. I think I may just get one of those internet brides from russia or asia so that when I speak and make an ass of myself she won't be able to understand me.

I bought a couple new books today. when I got home I opened one of them up and discovered that whatever 'forward' the book might have had as well as the first 14 pages where missing. it's a good thing that I bought a couple books or I would have lost my mind and just sat up all night, clutching my partial book, and seething while I thought about all the horrible things I would do the the bookstore people very first thing in the morning when they opened the store.
