I wasn't really in the mood to update...BUT...some things just must be done despite the fact that it is International Beer Day...The day that all beer drinkers are supposed to raise a glass and celebrate all beer and brewers at some point during the day. I can't recall if I celebrated last year...because as in being Irish...beer drinkers celebrate everyday...only the freshmen celebrate on one day.

I celebrated in a reasonable fashion and did not overdo it...maybe next year...

My computer went down with a virus on Sunday and I just got it back today...It was a virus that jumped on probably while I was on Facebook, since I was on only three sites that day before the downfall...I can't blame them but I have heard from folks that are supposed to know that FB is crawling with bugs...don't tell them I said that though...

I did attend the overturning of Prop. 8 party in the Castro last night...even though it took someone several states away to draw my attention to it...since I had no computer and in my current incarnation, no television...:...It was a small crowd as would be expected...The overturning is great but it was expected,,,as is the eventual appeal...this may go all the way to the Supreme Court if both sides are willing to spend the time and money...If this were any other time and any other topic, the legislators would take over and hash out a bill that would end this drama...but being as polarized as the rest of the country, not much chance there...

Ideally our outgoing Governor should tell the outgoing Attorney General to just tell all cities to approve all marriages between all humans...and let the chips fall where they may...that would probably be illegal but it would take an effort to combat it and the powers that support Prop. 8 would have to choose where to put their money...

Too much politics...That's it...I need a kiss...
