tokyo rose was the first time i'd ever had sushi... it was pretty funny, because the fellow i went with hadn't eaten there before either. so we had all manner of wretchedly amusing pratfalls... we both initially tried to eat the soybeans pods and all, which really didn't work - the pods are fibrous and simply don't break down when you chew them. we spent a good minute or three sitting there chewing fruitlessly till we gave up and had to spit the stuff out...
the most predictable gag was mine - we had a sushi platter type of thing and so we were each taking about half of every type of sushi so we could both try it all. i neatly split this green, yolk-like thing in half and popped the whole piece in my mouth... naturally it was wasabi. so many tears!
but yeah - tokyo rose used to host the dawning, which was a weekly goth night on saturdays... it's in transition to a new location now, but the crowd is grand.
wow.. you are kinda deep i think, thats awesome, hard to find people like that in this stupid country... your words are beautiful.... but i have found that men that are good with words can break your heart easily hope you crawl out of that deep pool of sorrow soon
