Well La Dee Da. I have a birthday, which is always fun. I like giving myself an excuse to be excited and pampered and things. However, this year, my actual birthday is a lot less exciting than the party I'm planning for a couple weeks later. Huge fucking nerd that I am, I decided to have a big party and invite everyone from out of town and have this fantastic themed thing and what theme did I decide on, you may ask? Greco-Roman Myth. That's right, cause I'm a nerd.
A few people have already replied with their god of choice and we have Aphrodite, Persephone, Hades, Dionysus, Diana, Pan, possibly Io (I'm holding out for Io, I really am), possibly a harpie, possibly a mynotaur. I'm so excited.
Today I went to Ikea and spent way too much money, but now I have the happiest room. I have a real live bed! I can sit on it like a chair! and I have a new comforter that the cats haven't peed on, and a new cover that I really like. Plus light sources. This is mind-bogglingly happy-making.
