oh oh oh!
you can get these little cushion band-aids that are intended for healing blisters, BUT they also work great as a bumper for your heel when breaking in new shoes. wink

and i'm on board with you... spending more than $40 is ridiculous unless they are TO-DIE-FOR shoes.

It died in a blaze of Autumn glory....

Paper Bag Princess is a great book. My wife has a thing for fairy tales in all thir incarnations (in fact, the subject of her master's thesis) particularly the ones that throw the paradigms on their ear. it has an honoured place on our bookshelf.

Glad you're enjoying motherhood.
jacksalt:

Has your wife read The Practical Princess by Jay Williams?

And for unusual fairy tales, has she read anything by Amos Tutuola (The Palm-Wine Drinkard or My Life in the Bush of Ghosts)?

I'm not sure on "The Practical Princess" (though I notice it is out of print) and defintiely not on Amos, though I hope to rectify that, as I have added them to my Amazon cart for christmas!

Got any others? smile

I am a fan of stoned wheat thins. And not just because their name makes me giggle.
morgan:
I could go for some stoned wheat thins right about now!
morgan:
Instead of stoned wheat thins I ate an entire bag of Goldfishes.

September is always fleeting. He's a bit flighty, lol. In a rush to be off somewhere else.

I feel the same way. Everything's way too damn expenssive!
malice:
It's not a spoiler of the new episodes, don't worry. Just didn't wanna spoil Syler for anyone that hasn't seen the series wink
