I was on call yesterday for red cross again, and it was NUTS! I didn't get to do anything all day because I was so busy dealing with calls. Luckily around 9 or 10 it trickled to a stop, because I had some friends I hadn't seen in 3 years drop in unexpectedly and stay the night. It was so great to see them...I worked with them at summer camp 3 or 4 years in a row and so we went over to Sidetracks and grabbed some late dinner and beer and talked about camp memories for a few hours. They had driven up from Kansas City that day, so they were pretty beat and we went to bed around 2am. I got woken up twice by two more calls (I'm on call from 9am to 9am on weekends when I do that shift) and then I woke up half an hour ago when they left. They had to get on the road to Connecticut, they're trying to get there today. Sad they aren't sticking around...I was going to take them to Slow's for lunch in Detroit. I keep trying to go there with people and so far it's failed to work out. Grah. Maybe I'll just go by myself, I want to take a bunch of photos anyway of that part of Detroit.

I went and talked to my tattoo artist about adding on to my tattoo the other day...exciting! I think it might end up a full sleeve. I never thought I'd be that girl...you know, with sweet tattoos, hahaha. I love it though, I love what I'm going to add to it, and I'm just itching to get some more ink. She doesn't have any appointments until September so I've gotta itch a little longer. But I'm excited to be planning it and working on sketches and such.

What else have I been up to...this was my first week of full time work, and it went well. I'm doing a decent job of keeping my shit together since the break up. My coworker I've been crushing on made me a break up cd, which was sweet of her. It's really good to cry to. Mirah, forget the name of the album. I went to value world yesterday and got a bunch of cds, a bugs bunny cartoons dvd, and a copy of the Ah! My Goddess movie, for old times sake. Somebody was getting rid of some good cds...Elliot Smith, Hole, Radiohead, Garbage, Mazzy Star, Depeche Mode, Information Society, New Order...all in good playable condition, too. I love Value World.

I found these pictures on my computer yesterday...guess they're leftover from my ex's camera from Christmas when we went to AZ to see my family, and from my birthday party. Pretty rad.

today I may be meeting up with the lovely Brodey to take some pictures...exciting! Provided the weather cooperates, of course.
