Sounds like you have had a rollercoaster of a week and could use a reprieve. Maybe you can take that zesty, piquant whine into a tub full of bubbles with a good book. That is usually my solution to overload. Then I cry.
I hope you have a restful weekend and that next week is easier on you.
With that going on a fight on the interwebs should be the last thing you concern yourself. Truth, yours and mine and theirs, all comes out in the wash eventually and people with integrity grown through. Thanks for the apology and I hope you accept mine. I responded to you in Geezers.
A friend of mine put it to me like this, since Obama won, the air tastes better.
Iknow what you mean about being broke getiing to you cause I'm right there. I struggled through 3 years of school and got a pretty well paying job. But, I lost AHCCCS (state insurance) and all the other assistance for poor single student moms. It seems like I have less left over after bills and my student loans. Worring over money is not going to end soon for me either.
Don't beat yourself up over the drama in the geezer group. This election was very emotional for the whole country. I bet the Geezer group is one of many places in this country where tempers flared starting Tuesday night. And it dosen't look like any hard feelings are being harbored, least not in Geezers.
Your a human being, you get emotional now get the hell over it!!
I hear your financial woes, my income ebbs and flows year to year. The only concrete thing I have ever learned about money is that there is never enough, and you will always get more...
I'm sorry you guys are going through all that right now...it's a bummer when someone like Neo has to feel badly about not being able to work! He did not ask for what happened to him and should be able to face life with the dignity of knowing that he is contributing to the family pie so to speak. He worked his whole life from what I can tell, and paid into the fund that he is now collecting from...not rocket science to me but seems like the government always makes things way more complicated than need be.
Sorry you're dealing with so much bad stuff. I can relate to everything you mention above in one way or another. Money's been a real problem for me over the last couple of months. I've been struggling to keep things together.
My father had chronic back problems which, as in your case, impacted on my family making ends meet. Things were different in those days. There were less government programs that were designed to help people who needed it.
I know what you're saying about the addition of even a few more students to your class, and how it impacts on the workload and the quality of service to your students. I know it's not the same, but my daughter is a kindergarten teacher. The addition of even one or two students makes a big difference in the ability to give everyone the best she can give.
I should have visited your page a lot sooner. I've heard many good things about you. I hope things get better for you going forward.
My goodness what a time.....SSA can be a royal PITA, but they are usually helpful. I've lived in my car at a few darktimes so I feel your pain there! Thanks for recognizing my all time favorite cowboy, Jack Elam!
He was not even an actor when he hit Holly wood, he was an accountant! Good luck, Peace Bill
