On meeting people, really there's no easy way. I'd suggest trying to join the regional groups and going to group events if that's the kind of thing you want to do. I think really it just takes time. It was over a year before I corresponded with people from this site long enough to want to meet any of them. We're friends maybe after a while I might want to hang out with you, but we'll see. I'm not a moron and you could be a psycho for all I know, ya know.
