So I'm beginning to wonder if when I get out of the army and work for the government (local government in education this time) if the people around me will still be as completely retarded as most of these people? 
On a brighter note the internet is working somewhat in my room (which is awesome since it's about 1232134894754320 degrees outside all the time now). I also wrote a ton today on my composition and only have a little bit to fill out before it'll be done with the first edit and ready to start being rehearsed.
At this point I'm only fearing that the same thing will happen to this as with most my compositions. People won't put in the time they need to in order to play their parts and it will sound like garbage and get scrapped. Sr. Recital went that way and it wasn't too pretty.
Today is also 11 months since I left Germany. Crazy...two more payments and my car will be paid off in full...dopeness. Now I just need to do battle with my school once more to try and be able to take four courses next semester so I can try to finish my PhD in three semesters.
I'm also close to buying my new camera (I want to get one of the canon DSLRs and a few different lenses). I miss walking around places and taking photos, and especially in Europe where even train rides are pleasant to look at.
I also need to start saving some dough so I can buy a new laptop....I love the macs, but the one I want is about $4k and that is just crazy, but maybe with a bunch of different discounts I can get that price chopped down a good amount.
