kungfuvoodoo:
So, you wana join the guild?
(Generic greeting everyone gets)
Make ready your contributions and comments, and as astronauts in to the unknown, come what may and what not.
Welcome, feel free to butcher, rewrite, or complement your fellow writers work, as this is a get into it group, the main reason for it being private. We are all pros, can take it, and invite the commentary to improve or sharpen perceptions. Although we are definitely not here to attack the individual, the intent is to provide support to the truth seekers.
All writing styles, subjects, and interests are as different as the individual and after we get going we may choose to require a submission to enter.
Welcome aboard and feel free to comment, add, and contact me anytime.
lovesome:
Sounds amazing. I'm really looking forward to getting into the guild. I desperately need a source of inspiration and constructive criticism, and I'm hoping that this group is going to accomplish that for me. Thanks for the welcome, even though it's generic smile
cipher:
Hey...
I just entered into the above writer's "guild," was looking through the members and...weird. You're at least partially from Grand Forks? Cause so am I...

I always find it entertaining to find another escapee.
Anyway, just sayin' hi.
C
lovesome:
surely you jest! I can't believe someone else in the United States is from Grand Forks! Small world, huh?

You are one of two people I have met that's from Grand Forks--where did you escape to?

Just saying hi back, since we are official SG friends now. smile
cipher:
Who would joke about this? I WISH I hadn't spent my first 18 years on this world in that hellhole.
Small indeed-my first job in the area, one of my fellow co-workers was originally from GF.
I didn't get far, just to St. Paul, MN for now.
So when did you live there/for how long? Bet I suffered more.
ifhelddown:
how do you like Palm Harlem? and what brings you there? I have spent my entire life there except for my current schooling.
lovesome:
You certainly did suffer more. I was only there for 8 years, but pretty much all the memories of my childhood are contained there. It's a small world, after all.

St. Paul? You practically just rolled over the border between ND and MN wink

I lived there from...'87-'94. I love 20 foot snowdrifts on the side of my house.
lovesome:
Palm Harbor is eh. I'm not really a fan, and when my dad got a job transfer from ND it brought us to Florida, and we chose to reside in the lovely suburban area of Palm Harbor. I've been here for almost 10 years now, but I only really live here part of the year because I go to UCF in Orlando during school time. So yay. Where are you going to school now?
ifhelddown:
UCF smile im here right now
lovesome:
How awesome is that? I'll be back in there in exactly one month, so hooray for UCF smile

On or off campus?
ifhelddown:
I live in a house behind the school of Lake Pickett
lovesome:
awesome. i'm in pegasus landing--er, will be in about a month. i'm always glad to meet fellow UCF-ers smile
