are you going to post the monster flick?!?
yetimike:
sounds pretty rad all around -- our day was a'ight but family would be better maybe?

It's funny I reevaluate as well... and want to write like I used to because I read all the things I used to write that I left behind here... but it usually ends up making me more confused about what I want/need to do about my life. Then I want to go to my home and admire my family from afar...
lovechild:
eh. sorry no movie. my cousins stole it away. next time i swear!

but an update:
so my brother, sister, & i just got back from seeing a late showing of "the prestige". i highly suggest this as your next theater experience. it is actually one of the best movies i have seen in awhile. i also think that tesla has some significance in my life right now. the day before yesterday i read the SG white stripes interview (from may). i love the white stripes. i really do. but i did think it was odd that half of this interview was spent talking about the tesla coil. it really stuck out in my mind for some reason. i had no idea that the movie tonight involved tesla. so what is the scientific genius trying to tell me from the grave? i don't know. i don't quite believe in coincidences, yet i believe in free will... but that's another story...
it's like when you talk about hippopotamuses one day and then later that same day you hear someone else talking about hippopotamuses in the same context. who goes around talking about hippopotamuses out of nowhere like that?
so... collective conscience? tell me tesla

ok. enough of that for now. i will let it sit in the back of my brain to stew while i attempt to beat god of war tonight. yes yes, i'm only playing on easy, but i have limited time and my know-it-all guide is currently hypnotized by age of empires. i was stuck for 15 minutes earlier trying to figure out a way past this one wall before i realized i had to slash it like ten times. cheap trickery! i'm better than that i swear! medusa's got nothing on me!!!

perilsofbeing:
in the movie coffee and ciggarettes meg and jack talk about telsa coils the entire time. thats probably why they do it in the interview.
perilsofbeing:
ignore my last comment. your having more of a coincidal incident i kind of ignored. well. i reread the interview, and i remeber going through the same kind of telsa disturbance. i think its becuase telsa is shocking visually and humans know how to create telsa but have a hard time predicting what the current is going to do. we can only create the current, not fully control it, so it says alot about technology in a very simple but unpredictible and apocloytical way.

my problem was that i had watched coffee and ciggs, played half-life(that involved telsa) watched jurassic park and payed special attention to the character Ian and choas theory,
and played with one of those low wattage spherical telsa coils in the matter of a few days.
it sparked my interest even more about how humans are similar to telsa in that they are electrified and organized atoms that are semi-predictable and unrelenting in their quest to connect with each other.
