i need to go to a show. its not a want or desire but a necessity. i miss the 3 hour drive to salt lake. i miss the damn traffic and construction along most of the drive. i miss being away from where i work, live and go to school. i like the different scenery. pocatello isnt so bad, its not such a terrible place to be, but i think any place, for too long, will become drab and boring. an expedition would break up the monotony.im glad there is a new venue in town. saw missy higgins last thursday, fantastic. truely a gifted person. it was a short fix though, because dennys afterward was all too tragic. i missed the last few shows because of one thing or another. rancid cancelled. missed chuck ragan. missed felice brothers. missed sigur ros. all too depressing.rise against, alkaline trio, thrice and gaslight anthem are all comming soon, hopefully i can make it, that would be a good show to see. portugal. the man is comming shortly after, there is hope yet.ive been writing lately, something that i have been missing deeply. im realizing what needs to go, what needs to stay, and what needs to come back.
