I have the Numark TTUSB and while some of the vinyl people don't like it, I think it sounds great and I use it to transfer my vinyl onto my computer! I think its fantastic!
I personally prefer vintage. As long as you look into it you should be able to find an amazing vintage record player that will not crap out on you in a few weeks (unless you just beat on it)
Best of luck ^_^
You'll find the perfect one, it may or may not be new BUT perfect nonetheless. Have you thought about asking someone down in TX to check out if there are any that fit price and quality?
I haven't had my friends in Tx check for me, I've just been looking up here in Kansas City. If I can't find it by the time he comes to visit/help me move (which is in a WEEK!!!!) then i'll have to start the search in Texas. I don't think my guy is wanting to do much else besides playing the records, I would say sound is more important than anything.....this is turning my hair grey....oh wait...it's already been doing that for the past five years
Awwww LOL! Wow its almost time! That is soooo exciting! Did you get everything packed? lol I don't think I'd use a record player for anything else but records either. Hope you guys have a safe trip back to TX and update when you can!!
Well I bought a record player. I spent a little more than I meant to but I found a nice one that I think he'll really like. Then I'm talking to him saying I hope he can't tell what it is even if it's wrapped (as he is coming up there to help me move).....and he goes "Is it that big? You're not allowed to spend more than $100 on me!!!)....ugh wish he would have said that earlier!! grrr....I'm still glad that I bought it cause I know he'll love it but now I feel a bit awkward....
Outta curiosity, what brand and model did you buy? My mom has vinyls that she'd probably love to listen to again. Also, how'd the move go? I haven't caught up with you in a while.
