The wedding photography was pretty easy. I've been friends with the bride and her family a long time, so that was just like hanging out. The groom's sister also had a good camera and took a bunch of photos, probably more than I did, so I felt like I had some back up. She was super happy to be taking photos. As for the ceremony, there weren't that many people in the bridal party and we did the pics before the service. It went very quickly. Things were very well organized. It was a good experience, but I'm not sure I would want to do it again for people that I wasn't friends with.
that gingerbread man looks really cool, you're clearly enjoying this course and doing great
they didn't have salt & vinegar crisps at subway before? that's crazy, they're the best kind - here, they're everywhere, and not just in little bags. sounds like a nice day though - sometimes the little things are waht make us happiest, eh.
i have a job interview this morning - i couldn't be more nervous, so my day today will consist of that, and then probably some retail therapy - go by buy myself a little present or two to make everything feel better
cool gingie!
you're computer is very lucky to get to stare at you all day.
i'm always in torment by the bazillions of things that i want to do... oy.
but it is much better than being blank
Keep up the good work!
i wanna play metroid echoes too...
<3
yeah, no salt and vinegar in sweden, but they have those weird peanut butter flavoured rings. . . those are horrible.
well, my nervousness aside, the interview went okay - i should hear whether or not i'm in by the beginning of next week, so. . . unless it goes onto a second interview, in which case i'll probably just get nervous all over again. the job is a teaching job, though, and ina place i've worked before, but there's been a lot of changes there, so, i think if i get the job, working there will be very different. none of the people i worked with are even there anymore i don't think
i managed not to spend any money, though - decided to wait until friday when i'm going through to glasgow, where there's so much more for me to spend my money on - a book or two, i think, maybe some music. i also really, really need an eye test
You mean you have to use booleans to cut out the windows?
I'd like to help you, but I'm not sure what your knowledge base is for this project.
Did they actually teach you booleans and how to use them or did they just say to model and use them, leaving you to figure it out yourself?
Is it something like the project on page 23 here: Blender Manual (goto page 23)
Page 22 has the actual boolean information and then page 23 says how to do it.
This tutorial is actually for modelling dice, but the boolean explanation is a little more clear. It's under step 6
I hope that helps you some, lemme know if you're still confused.
ah. The info they gave you was actually very good. You can disregard the second link, but I would recommend looking at the first one as the project in the manual is the exact same one you have to do. It might spark some ideas for you to jump from.
Anyway. Good luck. After seeing your magnificent tree, you should have no problems with this one.
