I dunno how many kitties in the States have kitty AIDS but it's very rare in Germany. I guess it's not much different in the States smile
Also, it's kinda like human AIDS- If your cat really is really infected (what all of us don't hope!) the disease needs a long time (5-10 years) to break out.
