Well thank god thats past for another year.
My birthday sucked as expected. More than likely cos I thought it would and got all depressed and cried a lot of the day.

Am desperately trying to cheer up and get stuff done instead of going to bed now and crying some more, which is what I really want to do. But I've got loads of housework to do and we've got my future step son coming over to stay for the weekend so I have to do it. (if only to dispel the evil step mother myths!)

I bought some fabric yesterday so oncec I've done some tidying I'm going to start some sewing!. I've got a vintage sewing pattern for a pencil skirt that I'm going to try and make. I've never done something like this before so wish me luck! If it all goes well I've also got a pattern for a purdy fifties dress which I'll do.

In my gloom over the past few days I've eaten loads of crap so wasted all my efforts in January. Poo. So back on the diet I go. Any ideas on how to increase my will power let me know!
