No hope indeed, we've been 'friends' for a while now .. and as it goes, last week she called to tell me she'd started seeing someone
We were due to go to a friends Birthday BBQ the next day and she thought i should know as he was gonna be there too ! I called her back later to say we shouldn't see each other for a while, I've just been unable to let go.
I love spending time with her, she really cool. But after i'm always a mess, wishing it could be more and knowing my only way out is to cut her out completely.

Betina seems pretty good at the moment, we have a good routine going with each other and Luca. He's taken it all in his stride i think. You probably don't know about this but Luca has Autism, so his understanding of social situations is completely different. He's very intelligent and understands everything you say to him, but his language is still catching up. I think he looks at the situation very pragmatically - Daddy has a flat / Mummy has a flat, he gets to stay at both and play.
