It hadn't fully hit me until I was reading some posts in the Depression outlet group, that the anniversary of my dad's death is five days away, with my birthday following four days after that. I fear I will forever dread my birthday.

Do the other books get any better? I fear that I'm just going to go ahead and read all of these books b/c of this sick need to finish what I started. Unfortunately, I like the HBO series more than the books, which isn't saying much.

The TV series is the same way. Some episodes are phenomenal, and then others put me to sleeep, literally. I'll keep on chugging along for now.
