I've been to Newport Beach like 3 times in my life. Each time wound up being a completely horrible day. After the first and second times, I was perplexed at how a day could go so wrong so quickly (one was an okay day, the other started off wonderfully). After the third, I knew it wasn't about me so much as it was about Newport Beach and me.

No percoset, but I do have an ego, I checked and it's all there.

I just saw that about two weeks ago, that guy is pretty amazing but the Muay Thai style doesn't lend itself well to movie making in the way that we're used to. It's much more explosive and direct which while impressive, and lets face it painful, doesn't have all the sweeping arcs and movements that we see all the time from jet li and jackie chan. It felt like they were trying to force it into a mold it didn't fit for a lot of the scenes and when it shows so many replays of the same hit from different angles it loses something.

That said I'd kill to be able to move like that.
