This is the first I've heard about the new job. I hope it wotks out well for you. Extra money is always appreciated, especially these days. Also, the chance to learn new skills is a great opportunity.
I think the worst part of my bad experience was that I wasn't expecting anything bad to happen to me after so many positive experiences. Getting hurt physically, even beyond what I was expecting, is always something I was aware could happen. This was different, as it was a case where it never would have happened if not for the other person's indifference.
Just to let you know. I'm absolutely ready to get back on the horse. I'm planning to play with my friend Yvonne at a party tonight and am already working on lining up play partners (plural) for a party next Saturday.
I love that we're able to share our experiences with each other.
Trying to keep the sleep cycle for the work I'm getting
is rather taxing. Even though I'm only getting 2-3 days
of work a week, I Need to be functional at 3am. So trying
to keep a 7pm bedtime for 2am wake-up is difficult;
especially when as on Wed I didn't get home until 10:00pm.
All this weekend I've been setting the alarm for the usual time-
then going back to sleep; which for me to sleep more than
6hrs at a time means I'm sicker than a dog [ which I'm not ]
or exhusted. Part of the reason for the strangeness
of these hours is that it's an Hour-and-a-half drive to the
jobs.
Sat. was fun for A. and I, we went up to the Audubon Society
to hear a talk on Owls. Which was quite interesting. She liked
when they brought some of their 'resuced' Owls around for closer inspection.
One of her x-mas presents is the 'adoption' of a Saw Whet owl.
She'll get pictures and updates of how this owl is doing through out the year.
On the way home we tried a different x-mas tree farm and tagged
a tree to cut next Sat.
